About the Owner
Taralyn Webster is the owner and operator of Poised Executive Protection, a Louisiana-based Woman-owned firm. Mrs. Webster has more than 25 years experience working in law enforcement in the upper echelon of specialized units. She joined the New Orleans Police Department in June 1997. She served as a violent crimes detective until she was transferred to the intelligence division. There she performed cyber surveillance and regularly coordinated with Secret Service and FBI to assess risks and assist with protective services for Presidential visits. After years on dignitary protection duties, she was selected to serve as the first female executive protection detail for then Mayor Mitchell Landrieu. After serving nineteen years with the department she retired and began as a Special Agent with the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control, Executive protection for the ATC Commissioner. There she was responsible for launching one of Louisiana's first human trafficking task force units. She
holds a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and is pursuing an MBA at LSU.
